Lonely
Lonely is a
shadow, that escapes the light of dawn,
which comes engulfed in darkness, later to be gone
from the depths beneath your heart beat, in the breadth beside your soul
it lingers upon the moments when your feelings are not whole
Lonely is a man, who walks twilights down the
street,
known to him are faces that memory can not defeat
lost to him are places, all things that would not last,
he only weeps and paces always looking for his past
Lonely can
not sing, its voice- the rain had took along,
crickets took its music, and the nightingale- its song
but its wordless cloak of sorrow and unspoken self denial
is haunting our tomorrow like a ghost we’ve known awhile
Lonely if
only, would let the sunrise cast its fate…
and forgave himself the past that he looked upon with hate…
could find within itself, the love its always known
and
see that it is not only, Lonely- on its own

Faith
what
does it mean
what is it describing
to be felt so small
but filled to its capacity,
drawn within.
almost incandescent
almost a shiver anchored to the
very root of my being.
does it speak
does it know that the shine
in your eyes could sometimes
kill something inside of me,
because it believed.
how many times can you count
the disbelief of losing someone,
to be missing something you
somehow had
whose hands am i actually
reaching out to in the darkness.
is
there a god
